Memoria

These 2 photos are from the short movie "Memoria" that John and I made last weekend. If you haven't seen it yet, go right ahead: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svcvXXunV8c
The whole project was more about fun than anything else, but I'm quite happy with the way it turned out.

This photo down here is a very accurate representation of our concentration while filming :)

And here are the usual random photos of Chester:

A new year

Is it 2014?
Yes? Now?

ok..

so?

Oh wait, I've got to adjust all the numbers and such, haven't I? Oh that's just great.. (sarcasm)

I tried keeping the skies as close to their real world colours as possible. Everything had this beautiful purple glow today afternoon (by the time I post this it's gonna be yesterday but oh well who cares) so yes, these are the real colours, I didn't alter them significantly!

3 hour walk

So since I was quite bored yesterday and no one had time to do anything I decided to go on a walk through Wales, which is technically right around the corner from our house.

evening

Those who are looking at this on a computer screen instead of a phone can probably see the tiny white dot in the sky on the left side of the last picture. Who can figure out what planet that is?

Hint: the direction is south west, as indicated by the dim orange glow that the sun left behind :)

100

100 days. That's how long I've now been in Chester.
Feels more like 3 weeks.. :)

So anyway, coincidentally, the number of photos on this blog also just hit about 100, but I'm not completely sure, so don't blame me if anyone actually bothers to count and proves me wrong :D (might be 101 or 102)

Night

Yes, that's a timer selfie. Sorry, had to be, the symmetry with the diagonals was just so tempting to have a subject ever so slightly off center :D

Winter is coming... (soon) (maybe)

The last photo is from the Chester "winter wonderland", a place with Christmas trees, Christmas food and other christmasy stuff. The amount of people going to this winter wonderland was just off the chart, I didn't even know that Chester had such a big population...
